Job Title:Workload Automation Specialist
Work location: North Sydney
Duration: 6 months and possible extension
The Workload Automation Specialist/Automic Administrator is responsible for creating and maintaining all of scheduled jobs. Work closely with different team to create customized workflows to meet operational needs and assist business as needed. The Workload Automation Specialist/Automic Administrator is a key technical resources for other IT Staff members, providing automation advice and technical support for various projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating and scheduling Jobs/workflows.
- Promotion of jobs from one environment to another.
- Analyse internal user procedures, process workflow, and deadlines.
- Troubleshoots processing problems and resubmits jobs as necessary and/or escalates the problem.
- Administers access and application security responsibilities.
- Analyses Automic application for performance baselines.
- Work with project management and technical teams to resolve problems as needed.
- Assist with development scheduling resolution/analysis skills and software knowledge.
- Work cross-functionally with database administrators, LINUX/Windows system administrators and other teams to diagnose complex problems and drive resolution
- Apply application patches and perform upgrade of application as needed.
