UX DESIGNER – LEAD
Seeking an experienced UX Designer (Lead) for a large piece of work within a Government Agency in Sydney CBD. This is an initial 3 month engagement with possible extension(s).
THE ROLE:
This is part of a 4-year cross-agency programme of work that intends to consider the entire end-to-end service design and delivery aspects of the associated agencies. It will focus on improving the resource models, processes and procedures, communication, and overall data management. It will focus implicitly on a consolidated UX research, testing and service design approach in order to provide improved access to Audio Visual technology and services.
The UX Lead will adopt user-centred design principles in order to derive sustainable service design constructs necessary to implement wholesale transformation and produce meaningful micro and macro-level service changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defining a user-centred design approach and implement service design
- Developing a UX research and delivery plan for the cross-agency service
- Development of an overall service map, research, testing and validation
- Design and implement the change architecture requirements
- Guide and Lead the Product & Service Owners
- Recommend UX engagement model for user research
- Provide guidance and support in order to direct Service Owner (SO) and Product Owners (PO).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Thorough understanding of UX principles, research and user-centred approaches
- Ability to embed effective service design and practices within the agencies (cross agency)
- Experience with implementation of user-centred design approach, UX activities and design disciplines
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) and industry certification(s)
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
