- Senior Linux Engineer
- 6 months Contract Role (on view of extension)

Skills Needed:
- Deploy, configure, and support workloads to VMWARE / AWS / AZURE/ Open stack cloud utilising provider tools and processes.
- Write, deploy, and support automation flows to drive efficiency (Ansible, Terraforms, PowerShell, Jenkins, VMWare VRA/VRO, HPOO)
- Install, configure, and support hypervisor tools VMWare, Hyper V or Red Hat Open stack
- Provide 3rd level support for multi hypervisors including VMware, Hyper V and Open stack
- Manage and configure VMWare (6.5) to deploy virtualised server instances.
- Configure and support networking and storage subsystems on OpenStack utilising Scale I/O
- Write, deploy, and support automation flows to drive efficiency (Ansible, Terraforms, PowerShell, Jenkins, VMWare VRA/VRO, HPOO)
- Install configure and support containerisation technology toolsets (Kubernetes, Bamboo, Docker).
- Configure and support DR replication technologies (Zerto, Site Recovery Manager)
- Ability to perform following tasks utilising cloud provider tools:
- Set properties for Cloud Management.
- Run Discovery on the cloud resources.
- Obtain templates and approve to create catalog items.
- Define catalog items for both VMs and more complex offerings.
- Configure default lease settings.
- Set pricing for catalog items.
- Define and activate provisioning rules.
- Define and activate tagging rules.
- Define change control parameters for cloud resources.
- Customize user experience: provision rules and UI policies.
- Define schedule for downloading billing data.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
- At least 10 years of IT experience in ICT infrastructure implementation and operations
- Atleast 3 years as an Analyst, Specialist, IT Engineer, Domain Lead or Subject Matter Expert across the relevant technology and service domains
- Proficient in ITIL Service Management methodologies
- Specific ICT industry qualifications preferred.
