Role :Siebel Business Analyst
Contract Period : 12 months+ on a view to extendable
Location : Canberra

One of the Federal Department is looking for Siebel Business Analyst with a contract of 12 months duration


  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on requirements for complex and/or sensitive issues;
  • Requirements gathering, analysis and management;
  • Conducting workshop and group facilitation;
  • Undertaking solution designing and problem analysis;
  • Supporting continuous business improvement;
  • Identifying and progressing risks, issues and opportunities for the business;
  • Adhering to CLIENT methodology;
  • Developing and maintaining key documentation and ensuring it is appropriately stored in the department\’s recordkeeping repository;
  • Peer reviewing key deliverables including the test and training documentation;
  • Mentoring CLIENT staff to transfer technical skills and corporate knowledge;
  • Other duties as directed.

Mandatory/Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years\’ business analysis experience in medium to large Government organisations;
  • Exposure to a range of methodologies and products;
  • Ability to lead and facilitate business analysis and requirements gathering workshops;
  • Experience in delivering requirements documentation, such as functional specifications, use cases and workflows;
  • Excellent communication skills including a proven track record liaising with business to negotiate outcomes;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and monitor the tasks of team members to meet project milestones;
  • Ability to meet extremely tight deadlines in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to work well within a team environment with experience in leading a team;

Desirable Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years Siebel experience.

The security clearance level for this position is Baseline clearance
