SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER

Opportunity for a SharePoint / .NET Developer to become part of a progressive and dynamic team responsible for delivering applications to 4000+ users across multiple sites. The role is Richmond, Head Office-based, and close to public transport, shops and restaurants.

ROLE:

A SharePoint Developer is required to provide expertise in the analysis, development and implementation of new & existing .Net and software applications to meet current and on-going business requirements. The role is primarily responsible for the monitoring, performance tuning, availability, support escalation, security, installation, configuration and administration of the SharePoint environment. The position will also have responsibility to the company\’s application support services as required which may include taking ownership of particular systems or processes.

RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • The design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards
  • The development and exploitation of expertise in any specific area of technology, technique, method, product or application area
  • The provision of application maintenance and support services, either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions
  • The management of practices and processes to ensure the integrity, safety and availability of all forms of data and data structures that make up the organisation\’s information
  • The management of data and information in all its forms and the analysis of information structure (including logical analysis of taxonomies, data and metadata)
  • The development of innovative ways of managing the information asset of the organisation.
  • The specification, design and maintenance of mechanisms for storage and access to both structured and unstructured information, in support of business information needs
  • The authorisation and monitoring of access to IT facilities or infrastructure in accordance with established organisational policy
  • Provide support (Level 2 & 3) and maintenance for some legacy java applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in SharePoint application / solution development. Administering, configuring, monitoring and support of SharePoint environment
  • Strong knowledge of.NET Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, XML, MS Visual Studio, and relational databases
  • Experience with ASP.NET and SharePoint object model and SQL, SQL server
  • Expertise in the appropriate development and application of Stored Procedures, SSRS & Crystal Reports
  • Current drivers\’ license.
