SERVICE DESK OFFICER
Seeking an experienced Service Desk Officer for a 2 month initial contract with possible extensions in Port Macquarie NSW. ASAP Start.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering professional telephone and email support to effectively manage customers and their expectations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of the underpinning knowledge of the qualification
- Practical Knowledge of customer service techniques in an IT environment
- Practical knowledge of enterprise email services and office product software such as Microsoft Office 2010
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures
- Application knowledge IT security frameworks, system security, controls and implementation of associated risk management processes
- Working knowledge of computer operations and software and systems
- Practical experience in delivering professional telephone support in a large corporate environment, to effectively manage customers and their expectations
- 12 month practical experience in an IT technical service environment providing remote support service
- Minimum 12 months experience supporting Windows XP or later operating system
- Experience supporting enterprise email services
- Experience supporting office productivity software e.g. Microsoft Office 2010
- Experience in applying computer operations and business systems applicable
- Ability to understand and apply IT security framework, system security, controls and implementation of all associated risk management processes to assist Service Desk to meet IT Service Level Agreements
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) – Certificate III in Information Technology
- MCP certification
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
