Senior Test Analyst – Brisbane/Melbourne

You will be responsible for converting software requirements into tests and then for the execution of those tests. Test results will need to be captured and defects recorded and managed through to resolution.

You will be required to assist with training documentation based on your application knowledge and also to assist the broader development team wherever required.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Preparing and maintaining test plans
• Conducting continuous testing and upgrades
• Capturing and communicating system defects and test case failures
• Liaising with business analysts and developers in order to ensure software specifications are met satisfactorily
• Liaising with suppliers, other team members and team leaders
• Providing assistance with training plans and end user feedback and
• Assisting end users to understand system behaviour and system functionality.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Junior Test Analyst within the energy sector preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (phone and face-to-face)
• Strong analytical skills;
• Well-developed problem solving skills; and
• An approachable and co-operative attitude to work
