Job Description
- Operate independently and be able to add immediate value (demonstrated experience)
- Design, document and deliver technical solutions within the established enterprise architecture
- Communicate effectively with, and between the immediate team, business subject matter experts, developers, analysts, engineers, end users of systems and management
- Highly proficient in fault resolution, problem identification, diagnosis, information seeking, analysis and problem resolution
- Ability to accept responsibilities and accountabilities and be focused on delivering efficient and robust outcomes to meet the wider team objectives
- Time management skills with excellent planning and organisational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation
- Proven ability to work in a high-pressure support environment with competing priorities and requirements
- Respond to business needs in a timely manner
Required skillset:
- Must have minimum 3 years demonstrated holistic hands-on experience and understanding of operational technology systems design and implementation concepts. IT/OT convergence integration experience a benefit
- Proven high level key-role in designing, building and documenting business critical OT services and systems
- Provide expertise and oversight to control systems network security throughout the entire OSI network model – layer 2 to layer 7
- Employ extensive Linux/UNIX experience in system configuration, administration and support skills to underpin efficient and robust operational technology control system best practices
- Extensive experience in system development, application development and support where the following languages have been used: C, C++, Perl, Java
- Excellent knowledge and experience in debugging TCP/IP network stack
- Software development life cycle
- Systems knowledge in management of large environments utilising a mixture of physical and virtualised resources.
