To be Successful you will need:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Network Security Analyst or Network Operations Engineer with large enterprise
- Experience in Checkpoint Firewalls and Clustering – (Provider 1, VSX)
- Experience in Unix / Linux Administration
- Experience in Proxy – administration, patching, troubleshooting, device recovery – SourceFire / Zscaler (preferred but not mandatory)
- Exposure in Scripting (either/or Shell, BASH, Python, Perl) and Automation
- Experience in TCP / IP (debugging traffic flow (Tcpdump, Wireshark), isolate problem areas in a large IP Network)
- Experience in Checkpoint firewalls (Engineering, troubleshooting, connection tables) – CCSA, CCSE (highly desirable)
- Exposure in F5 LTM experience – administration, patching, troubleshooting, device recovery
- Good knowledge of Operating Systems and IT Security Concepts
- SNMP / Nagios, CACTI
- Proven communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
