To be Successful you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Security Analyst or Network Operations Engineer with large enterprise
- Experience in Checkpoint Firewalls and clustering – (Provider 1, VSX)
- Experience in Unix / Linux Administration
- Experience in Scripting (either/or – Shell, BASH, Python, Perl) and Automation
- Experience in TCP / IP (debugging traffic flow (Tcpdump, wireshark), isolate problem areas in a large IP Network) – CCNA preferred
- SME in Checkpoint firewalls (Engineering, troubleshooting, connection tables) – CCSA, CCSE (highly desirable)
- SME in Proxy – administration, patching, troubleshooting, device recovery – SourceFire / Zscaler (preferred)
- F5 LTM experience – administration, patching, troubleshooting, device recovery
- Good knowledge of Operating Systems and IT Security Concepts
- SNMP / Nagios, CACTI
- Proven communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
