  • Senior Security Analyst
  • Location: Port Macquarie (Remote now)
  • Short term contract (Strong likelihood for contract extension into 2021)
  • Immediate start to 31 December 2020

Role & Responsibilities

Working within the Cyber Security Program, you will be partnering with the business to ensure the business is compliant with the latest industry regulatory security policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for:

  • the review of regulatory standards and requirements, primarily but not necessarily restricted to IPART licence conditions
  • the development of cyber standards and protocols
  • engaging with the client\’s Standards Working Group to negotiate and agree on the cyber standards and protocols to be adopted
  • the identification and documentation of gap analysis between client\’s current position vis a vis chosen industry standards/protocols
  • working with the Cyber Change Lead to assist in the development of change impact analysis, business readiness and communication of newly adopted cyber standards and protocols

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Sound industry experience (5 years+) and knowledge/skills in the following areas:
  • Cyber security
  • Device hardening
  • Technical analysis
  • Technical & policy writing
  • Risk assessment & controls
  • Compliance knowledge and background
  • Exceptional communication, documentation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Competency/working knowledge of MS office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines when required
