Main Activities
- Track, analyse and Report performance against key Quality metrics to the stakeholders;
- Manage a strong stakeholder Relationship with effective and proactive communications, especially when Quality issues and failures arise.
- Proactively lead the management of critical QA issues in combination with other functional areas.
- Lead and develop the Quality Team with defined processes and adequate resourcing, training and performance feedback to ensure inspections occur on time and to the required standard.
Key Skills
- Experienced in leading the Quality Function preferably in a similar or related industry
- Knowledge of Quality Systems and Quality Management process and tools
- Ability to lead a team
- Analytical and Organisational Skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10+ years total experience in the automation, development and testing domain and processes
- Demonstrated experience building Test Automation Frameworks
- Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline or related field
- Strong Manual and Automated testing experience, including demonstrated success with implementing Automated Testing framework solutions
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of licenced and open-source automation tools, frameworks, scripting languages (e.g. Java, RestAssured, Selenium, Appium, JavaScript, Python)
- Demonstrated experience managing automated testing, both in terms of process and tools (e.g. QTest, Jira, Rally, Confluence)
- Demonstrated experience with creating BDD and TDD test automation frameworks compatible with diverse technology stacks including UI, API and Microservices
- Advanced ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, negotiate and influence
- Demonstrated experience with testing against Cloud Platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with testing aspects of DevOps including CI/CD continuous testing using tools such as Bamboo, GitLab, Jenkins or AzureDevOps.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment (preferred).
- Experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure DevOps), Microservices and API Technology (preferred).
- Experience in Banking Domain (preferred).
