- Senior Consultant Solution Designer
- Permanent opportunity with Tier 1 Bank
- Candidate can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (Melbourne preferred)
- Salary ranges from $190K -220K (Inc. Super) / annum + Bonus + other perks!
- Must have experience with building enterprise level Microservices using Java, Spring Boot
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Developers, QE and DevOps teams to deliver optimal designs by understanding backend business rules and translating them to microservices contracts
- Ensure delivery of design within agreed timeframes
- Perform code review as required to ensure code quality of solution
- Prepare both infrastructure and API designs
- Participate in the delivery train as the Solution Engineer
Skills & Experience
- Technology design/architecture experience
- Experience with building enterprise level Microservices using Java, Spring Boot (Must)
- Hands on experience writing JAVA, specifically using Spring Boot
- Experience with integration layer technologies
- AWS experience, Certification preferred
- Experience with Python, Shell
- Proven experience with Cloud performance engineering techniques
- Experience with Performance tuning of databases
- Ability to apply disciplined coding practices to enable agility and delivery of high-quality code
- Exposure to data migration would be an advantage.
