Our client is a large financial organisation offers a comprehensive range of services including domestic and global custody, master custody, securities lending, fund management, settlement and reconciliation services, performance analytics, and advanced reporting.

The role will be the specialist on a number of reporting, performance and compliance applications. You will work closely with business counterparts, various vendors and your technology colleagues.

Role:

  • Deliver system enhancements, including gathering requirements and propose solutions
  • Drive change and improvements across the technical environment
  • Engage with the vendor for small enhancements and upgrade activities
  • Problem management: respond, investigate and resolve system, configuration and data issues
  • Change management: coordinate, schedule and verify system changes
  • Delivery of project and change initiatives relating to these systems
  • Have ownership/accountability for the investigation of business and client queries
  • Respond to daily support activities of these specialist systems, including investigating production incidents and problems

Experience required:

  • 5+ years\’ experience in IT or Finance in a Financial Services organisation
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills
  • Hands on experience in one or more of the following systems: Charles River (Compliance), Eagle Pace (Performance module), StatPro or HiPortfolio.
  • The ability to create and deliver strategic ideas and initiatives
  • Experience in working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
  • Basic understanding of SQL Server or Oracle
  • Ability to gather, understand and document business requirements in the financial sector
  • Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business or related field
