Security Platform Specialist

Contract – until Jun 2017 !!
Melbourne / some travel to the western suburbs (required) !!
Experience in security management (IPS/IDS /Vulnerability) !!

One of our Government clients is looking for a Security Platform Specialist for a long term contract. You will assist in the deployment of strong governance practices and processes and provide input & oversight of the implementation of the new vulnerability and IPS/IDS managed services program.

Skills:

Identity and Access Management technologies (directories, user management and multifactor authentication)
Network technologies (Cisco routers, Checkpoint firewalls, F5 load balancers and IDPS)
Systems management, anti-virus protection, e-mail scanning and encryption, proxies and internet access management
Data centre technologies including servers, storage, database and application platforms
Understanding of the ITIL framework
Extensive experience and technical expertise in security management (IPS, IDS, Vulnerability Management)
Experience in creating and deploying strong governance practices and processes to assure the management of the security technologies and ensure the operational delivery of the security platform services are performed to agreed service levels.
