Role : Network Solution Designer/Engineer
Location: Port Macquarie, NSW
Contract: 12months

One of our utility client is looking out for a Network Solution Designer / Engineer to support a number of information technology projects that are due to be delivered in parallel.

Job Description:

Design and develop solutions to support applications in secure systems
Work safely within secure networks
Support ongoing knowledge management by documenting deliverables
Support end to end testing of complex integrated environment
Complete system level hardening to best practise

Specialist skill requirements

Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently or with large virtual teams as required
Must have experience working in enterprise networks and systems
Experienced unix shell, perl developer with Linux systems
Experienced in unix and Windows Server builds and configuration
Experienced in Linux administration and native software development tools
Experienced in automating functional/modular test cases and stress and volume testing
Highly desirable experience in modperl, Apache and CVS or similar code control system
Strong experience in debugging third party code
Strong Networking fundamentals

Note: Australian citizens preferred for this role
