Adaps has been engaged to source Network Engineer for one of the Federal Agency @ Parramatta.
Job Description:
The Network Operations Support Officer is responsible for provision of 2nd level technical support for management of enterprise-grade voice and data communications networks and professional delivery of related services in accordance with BTS business objectives.
The successful applicant will work in a small team and will be given an opportunity to work with and participate in roll out of state-of-art technologies.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Demonstrated initiative and innovation to identify and analyse problems with a view to creating solutions.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team spirit to guide others and sincerely deal with customer issues to create a focus on customer benefit.
- Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including experience in dealing with staff at all levels.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to review and escalate problems where necessary and ensure they are resolved.
- Willingness to provide on-call support after office hours.
Desirable:
- Interest in data and voice technologies and keen to grow and develop knowledge and experience in this area.
- Demonstrated capacity to support enterprise voice and data communications network and infrastructure with multi-vendor voice communications systems and multi-protocol data communications networks in a diverse organisation.
- Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Contact Centre Express, Cisco Telepresence, Aruba Wireless, IP Network technologies including Cisco hardware, software and network management systems
- Relevant industry certifications or experience.
- Must be an Australian citizen
