One of large Government Agency seeking experienced Machine Learning Specialist for 12 months engagement @ Canberra.
Your new company
You will join a large government agency based in Canberra and dedicated to a variety of projects and applications designed to protect the country and make life safer for every person living in it.
This role will be part of a small software team providing services for the design, implementation and development of an Enterprise Application for use by operational arms of the department.
Your new role
You will be working with a small, focused development team to provide your experience and advice to the project requirements and shaping the role to meet the business requirements.
You will analyse technical and business requirements for both existing and future applicants, develop statistical Machine Learning models for analysis capabilities and support data acquisition including loading, cleaning, manipulating and exporting the data.
You will use all your experiences in machine learning and data analysis to build and run data analysis prototypes to generate meaningful insight into business needs and contribute directly and measurably to the future of the project.
What you\’ll need to succeed
You will need a thorough understanding of application development technologies and best practice coding standards gathered from your extensive practical experience with data extraction and preparation which you will combine with your proven track record of Machine Learning applications, techniques and principles.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in concurrent and distributed systems, and use of Python and C/C++ for applications development.
With all this you will also need to be self-motivated, innovative and be able to use your initiative to achieve business objectives on time.
