Responsibilities
- Working with business analysts, User experience designers to ensure requirements are clear as well as offering technical input into the requirements process
- Designing and coding of iOS applications
- Active participation in all aspects of the software delivery life cycle and associated agile activities that the team undertake
- Working with the test team to ensure applications are robust
- Perform code reviews and provide timely and constructive feedback
- Continuous innovation in development practices, team processes and mobile design
- Presenting to internal colleagues and assist with external events such as hack days, meet-ups and showcase the team\’s achievements
Skills & Experience
- Experience across the full software delivery life cycle
- Exposure to agile software development and management methods
- Solid technical background as an iOS Engineer using Swift and Objective-C and an understanding of app design patterns and practices.
- Experience working with backend technologies, RESTful JSON APIs and microservices
- Experience with build management tools including CI/CD practices and tools (Gradle, Jenkins, fastlane)
- Experience with continuous test automation tooling (UITesting, Perfecto, Applitools)
- Development experience using common IDE and source systems (Xcode, Git)
- Experience writing unit and functional automation tests (XCTest, Specta/Expecta)
- Experience with release and configuration management practices including parallel development (tagging/branching strategies), managing multiple versions and third-party library dependency management
- Experience with repository artifact management (Artifactory)
