  • Working with business analysts, User experience designers to ensure requirements are clear as well as offering technical input into the requirements process
  • Designing and coding of iOS applications
  • Active participation in all aspects of the software delivery life cycle and associated agile activities that the team undertake
  • Working with the test team to ensure applications are robust
  • Perform code reviews and provide timely and constructive feedback
  • Continuous innovation in development practices, team processes and mobile design
  • Presenting to internal colleagues and assist with external events such as hack days, meet-ups and showcase the team\’s achievements

Skills & Experience

  • Experience across the full software delivery life cycle
  • Exposure to agile software development and management methods
  • Solid technical background as an iOS Engineer using Swift and Objective-C and an understanding of app design patterns and practices.
  • Experience working with backend technologies, RESTful JSON APIs and microservices
  • Experience with build management tools including CI/CD practices and tools (Gradle, Jenkins, fastlane)
  • Experience with continuous test automation tooling (UITesting, Perfecto, Applitools)
  • Development experience using common IDE and source systems (Xcode, Git)
  • Experience writing unit and functional automation tests (XCTest, Specta/Expecta)
  • Experience with release and configuration management practices including parallel development (tagging/branching strategies), managing multiple versions and third-party library dependency management
  • Experience with repository artifact management (Artifactory)
