Capabilities/Technical Competencies
- Development and admin Experience with IBM MDM Advanced Edition – 4 years +
- Good Java and Spring Framework experience
- Strong understanding of best practice standards and design patterns
- Fluent with relational databases and ORM technologies
- Proficient in designing, developing and integrating with REST APIs
- Experience with Spring Boot would be advantageous
- Experience with test automation
- Knowledge and experience with CI/CD practices and processes
- Knowledge and experience with Agile Development practices (BDD, TDD, Pair Programming)
- Familiarity with Cloud technology (e.g. AWS) and Infrastructure Automation technologies (e.g. Ansible)
- Experience with developer tools (e.g. Gradle, IntelliJ IDEA)
- Experience with messaging technologies
- Experience in providing technical mentoring and support
- Experience supporting high availability production systems is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Coordination and influencing ability
- Ability to work in a collaborative and distributed Agile environment with minimal direction and supervision
- Ability to work in a flexible environment and be adaptable to change
