Our large client is currently sourcing for a Hardware Support Coordinator with

  • Co-ordinate ad-hoc requests, manage escalations, investigate root cause and ensure that IT hardware is maintained in good working order at all times
  • Provide Support standards and solutions to business needs within technical area of expertise
  • Perform root cause analyse on complex hardware problems and determine best corrective action
  • Identification of ad-hoc remediation works including developing instructions and standards for works being undertaken
  • Establish and develop reporting automation within technical area of expertise
  • Problem trends to identify candidates for hardware lifecycle replacement, remedial maintenance or non performing hardware. Taking the lead in technical investigations and possible defects
  • Proven technical understanding of IT hardware industry and technologies
  • Proven capability working in a large scale, complex and distributed store environment
  • Experience in prioritising multiple high priority tasks and time management
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in use of MS Office (in particular excel and VBA)
  • Preferable ITIL certified and Kepner Tregoe trained
