Job Description:

We have two full-time, permanent Software Engineer opportunities available in Sydney. As a Full Stack Developer, you will join a new team building our next generation Financial Planning product – XPLAN Prime. You will be playing a vital role in building new functionality across the entire development lifecycle from inception, design, and deployment. You will be part of a collaborative; AGILE team passionate about developing high performance, scalable web applications.

Being part of our Sydney office, you will work with varied stack which includes JavaScript, CSS3, React, Backbone and HTML5. As we continue to grow, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on different projects while developing your technical or leadership skills.

We are passionate about improvement as we introduce continuous integration and continuous delivery best practices into our engineering environment. You will work alongside talented Engineers who are passionate about keeping up to date with the latest trends and tools while having access to formal training opportunities.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop world-leading products for financial markets and wealth management domains using modern tools and techniques.
    • Be involved from analysis through to testing design.
    • Manual testing
    • Review and analyse business requirements, developing solutions to enhance the client\’s product offering and the end user experience.
    • Execute end-to-end testing, automated testing and increase test coverage of our wealth product.

Required Skills:

    • 2-3 years\’ experience with Python
    • 3-5 years Front-End experience using JavaScript and React (Only required for one of the positions)
    • AWS experience including deployment and architecture.
    • Database experience using postgres and/or SQL.
    • Understanding of object orientated program.
    • Ability to structure test code effectively and write robust test cases.
