Front End developer

One of my Government clients is looking for a Front end developer for a 3 months contract in Sydney. This is to work a large project that they are currently working on.
The Role
The position of Front end developer, will report to the Project Director, and will be responsible for:
- Design and build of asynchronous, distributed, highly available web and mobile applications
- Technical documentation for both high and low level design
- Adhering to code management best practices and standards
- Liaising with Technical architects, user experience designers and business analysts to understand scope and requirements
- Understanding and managing dependencies with other development streams within the project
- Reporting status, issues and risks as required
Mandatory Experience
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in building asynchronous, distributed, highly available web and mobile applications
- A successful track record in large projects > $5M
- Demonstrated experience in working as part of SCRUM team using Agile software development methodology
- Excellent proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks in general and specifically experience with the Angular and Ember frameworks
- Proven experience with JSON used with Restful Web services
- Very strong analytical skills
- Proven experience with CSS
- Troubleshooting issues across environments and the full application stack
- Pixel perfect translation of detailed wireframes to an interactive interface
- Relational databases (e.g. Oracle11g)
- Demonstrated ability to produce documentation within identified standards
- Demonstrated communication and facilitation skills
- The ability to interact appropriately with departmental officers, vendor personnel and fellow team members
- Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes through collaborative and cooperative means
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level interpersonal and relationship building skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the project, its environment and related issues
- Be a self-starter and take initiative
Preferred Experience
- Modern front-end development tools for CSS preprocessing and package managers (e.g. Grunt)
- Selenium unit testing frameworks or equivalent
- Previous experience with Git (Bitbucket)
