Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing and deploying new applications, services or functions either in one major language, or a range of programs across multiple platforms predominantly in cloud environments.
- Support: Documentation of application/service design, operations procedures, knowledge management, service management, environment support, control and compliance
- Collaborating with business and technology teams to evaluate, integrate IT applications/services or provision of service and infrastructure to meet business objectives
- Ensuring that systems/services are developed within agreed budgets and time frames meeting design requirements, security standards, compliance, and control requirements
- Involvement and facilitating in team agile rituals, work decomposition and stories writing
- Providing technical mentoring, coaching and guidance to team members.
Experience needed:
- Experience in Sanctions Screening and Payment related applications (Net Reveal, Fircosoft, SWIFT, International Trade Finance)
- Experience AWS or other cloud infrastructure platform and related services
- Advanced skills in one or more of the major programming languages, scripting languages & frameworks (Java, Spring-boot, Apache Camel, Shell, Python).
- Knowledgeable in REST APIs, stateful API, microservices and event streaming.
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment using supporting industry tools.
- Advanced skills and knowledge of one or more of the databases (relational and non-relational) such as SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB.
- Knowledge in Payments systems and/or Screening systems will be valuable.
- Stakeholder Management in a dynamic changing environment.
- Working in collaborative, enterprise, and agile environments and supporting tools
- Excellent time and resource management.
