Adaps is hiring DevOps Engineer to work with a Large Government Client on a world-class cutting edge technology project.

What we need in this role:

  • Must have 8+years and above experience as DevOps Engineer
  • Must be good in identifying technology limitations, design good processes, procedures, and methods.
  • Researching, consulting, analyzing, and evaluating system program needs
  • Must be good in testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications including technical security controls perform to specification
  • Writing program codes to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
  • Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures
  • Provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades
  • Must be able to manage, test and automate software and application deployments
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Must have thorough understanding of the System and Technical specifications
  • Must have experience in API integration
  • UAT testing experience is a must.
  • Must have hands on experience in Cloud Technology and AWS
  • Communicating with customers on daily basis about project progress and risks
  • Providing the project status to internal/ external stake holders
  • Must possess strong communications skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Document and demonstrate the solutions by developing documentation, code comments and clear code
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Researching, consulting, analyzing and evaluating system program needs
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Write well-designed, testable code with the comments
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Developing continuous improvement and continuous delivery strategies across various system design and software development
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
  • Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
  • A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions
  • Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • managing testing and automation of software and application deployments
  • collecting and analysing operational metrics
  • the creation and development of the tools required to support software and its management and security
