My client, a well known, well respected name in the finance sector is looking to add a Checkpoint Design Engineer to their existing team.
The role has a hands on flavour but also has some more strategic & design elements to it.
Mandatory: You must have prior proven industry experience in the areas of:
- Perimeter Security
- Check Point Firewalls (Physical or Virtual)
- Check Point VPN,
- Check Point ClusterXL
- Proxy Services
- Outbound Staff web access
- Traditional inbound/outbound proxy services
- Platform security experience in any multiple of the following:
- Linux/Solaris
- Microsoft XP/2000/2003
- Mainframe (RACF)
- Cisco comms equipment (Routers, Switches & Load Balances)
- Proven experience with TCP/IP protocols and networking
Desirable: Proven Industry experience in the areas of:
- Perimeter Security
- Content Filtering Services
- AntiVirus and AntiSpam controls
- URL/content filtering
- Authentication Services
- Strong/Distributed Auth Systems (token, Kerberos, etc)
- Centralised LDAP
- Identity and Access Management
- Real time monitoring systems
- Consolidated event correlation
- Communications Equipment (Routers, Switches & Load Balances)
