C#.NET DEVELOPER
As exciting permanent opportunity for a C# Developer with SQL Server experience to join a nationwide leader in the water, gas and electricity market. This C# Developer permanent position is based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney – Rydalmere. The location is very close to public transport – train station (Rydalmere) and buses on Victoria Road.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Software development using C# programming practices
- Work on new development and maintaining existing applications
- Database design and application coding and participating in system design discussions
- Performing code review
- Collaboratively producing creative and innovative solutions
- Writing concise, readable and maintainable software code
- Authoring software driven unit tests
- Some travel may be required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong development experience using C#, ASP.Net
- Hands on experience with SQL Server 2008
- Experience with MS Products (VB on Access/Excel)
- Exposure to Windows Services, Web Services, DevExpress
- Exposure to Entity Framework, Xamarin / other Mobile development, Compact framework development is highly regarded
- Ability to read and understand solution design documents
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s)
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
