Business Development Manager

A global software company, specialising in Governance Risk and Compliance software solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to take control of their sales division throughout Australia. The role on offer pays $70000 as a package + commissions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Introduce sales campaigns for existing clients and drive incremental revenue opportunities
  • Client Account management
  • Understand customer strategies and market directions and identify and communicate new business opportunities
  • Whilst new sales will be your focus, the successful candidate is also expected to continue building on our reputation amongst existing customers and the wider community.

Traveling will be required as the role includes responsibilities for interstate sales. Client communications outside of normal working hours can be expected. A high level of maturity and the ability to work without supervision are essential for this role.

All tools required for the role will be provided and the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and established work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a similar role within the Australian market selling software solutions
  • Pre-sales and sales process management experience
  • Experience in tendering – writing and presenting
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with top management with confidence
  • Proactive nature and business acumen
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) and industry certification(s)
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
