One of our utility client is looking for Application Support Specialist. The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is working with industry to implement changes arising from a number of Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) inter-related rule changes by 1 December 2017.
Expected deliverables of resource for the above project(s)/role
- To provide application support services to Customer and Market Systems (Hansen Technologies Peaceplus). Including, but not limited to, responding to Incidents and Service Requests as required, performing data maintenance via SQL, performing interface maintenance using various transfer technologies including unix shell and perl scripts.
- Designing, developing and implementing application updates and configuration changes to support Business requirements.
- Supporting user acceptance testing activities.
Specialist skill requirements
- Unix Experience (Linux/AIX)
- Shell Scripting
- Perl Scripting
- Oracle SQL experience
- Oracle WebLogic 12
Standard skills/ knowledge areas
- ITIL
