Large financial organisation specialising in Mortgage Broking seeking an experienced Application Support Manager in Melbourne.
ROLE:
Large financial organisation specialising in Mortgage Broking seeking an experienced Application Support Manager for a permanent position in Melbourne CBD. To be successful candidates will come from an Application Development background and Management experience. Financial industry experience highly regarded.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing a team of Support Analysts
- Supporting core applications
- Developing operating and system documentation
- Working with users to evaluate IT applications and equipment requirements
- Ensuring that systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards
- Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of applications development team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Management / Team Lead is essential
- Experience in Application Development – SQL/ Access/Oracle/Microsoft is preferred
- Advanced development skills in MS Access 2010 and SQL Server 2008
- Knowledge in open source programming
- Ability to understand the essential needs of users and meet these in well-designed programs
- Financial industry experience preferred
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s)
